Fourteenth annual South Georgia Farmworker Health Project Scheduled

The June 2008 SGFHP was very successful, with approximately 1600 farmworkers and family members receiving free care over 12 days of clinics. A third fall project also took place in early October. Targeting workers who had returned to Decatur county for a late tomato crop, approximately 300  workers received care over two days of free clinics.

The fourteenth annual SGFHP will take place in Echols, Lowndes, and Decatur counties, June 12-26, 2009.  Planning is underway, and we expect the biggest Project yet to-date.
